Francesca Leass has more than twenty years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Francesca uses a strength-based, solution focused approach to treatment that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Stages of Change. She treats not only mental health, but multiple addictions ranging from substances to eating disorders. Francesca also believes integrating behavioral health to improve physical health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, etc.
Fran has participated in many professional collaborations and has created programs in the community including as Sector Leader for The Wood County Addiction Response Collaborative, Suicide Prevention Coalition and President of Wood County Prevention Coalition. She has been a warrior in the advocacy of prevention and treatment on local, state, and national levels. She has been active in presentations, podcasts, forums, town hall meetings, commercials and radio interview/shows to share her expertise with others. Fran has developed a Co-Occurring Program for adolescents and obtained Behavioral Health Distinction in a Federally Qualified Health Center, Patient Centered Medical Home.
Francesca is currently accepting telehealth patients working with a broad range of concerns and accepts many insurance plans.
